The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety.
