The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed for use in retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage area with various heights, widths, and depths available. Each level supports a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the unit allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving expands easily by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting starter units together. It features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
