The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the kit features a durable roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes throughout easily, improving fire safety. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. The open design allows four side access and easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components, making expansion simple and stable compared to bolting two starter units together.
