The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway. The wire mesh decking ships in two pieces and allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow to improve fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish provides maximum support, and front-to-back beam supports help prevent rotation when fully loaded. The shelving offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making setup straightforward.
