The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Wire Shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, making it durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustment. The construction features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud joints lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, thus providing a structurally secure unit. The wire shelving offers ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily for enhanced fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, and assembly is tool-free with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This add-on unit ships with wire mesh in two pieces to facilitate handling and installation.
