The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically by 1" increments, along with wire mesh decking shipped in two pieces, which allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. The shelving unit uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to create structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The open design offers four-sided access and easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components for quick set-up. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, and the design facilitates easy expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
