The SC Preferred 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner post using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass throughout easily, enhancing fire safety. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The unit also includes a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish.
