The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and wire mesh decking that ships in two pieces. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, resulting in a structurally secure joint. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while facilitating sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums.
