The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, offering durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction for a structurally secure joint eliminating back and side sway, and wire decking that ships in two pieces, allowing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while facilitating sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The components snap together easily with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, supported by sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The entire shelving unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and is available in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area.
