The SC Preferred 4-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to fit various storage needs and allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The kit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wire decking ships in two pieces, enabling ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
