The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is engineered to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that are adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves provide four-side access and the wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks, improving fire safety. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The finish is chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and assembly is simple, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The design allows easy expansion and unit joining with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
