The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving features a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, and the unit offers easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes durable 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double rivet horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts forming a secure joint to prevent back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. The wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting water from sprinklers to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Expansion is simplified by joining add-ons for greater stability with less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
