The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that are adjustable vertically in 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be adjusted at 1" increments. The durable roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design permits four-side access for maximum flexibility, and wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, also allowing sprinkler water to pass through the racks easily to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and assembly is easy without bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components. Expansion is facilitated by joining units with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
