The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing adaptability, and the shelving features an open design that allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. The included wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
