The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile configuration, and the open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The entire assembly features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy snap-in assembly with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load.
