The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The unit features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments, with snap-in components for easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts, preventing sway and beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for enhanced fire safety. Wire mesh ships in two pieces. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports provide maximum support and structural security.
