The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing, 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, and wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass throughout racks to improve fire safety. The construction uses double rivet button stud joints that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The wire mesh decking ships in two pieces.
