The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is engineered to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments to fit various storage needs, and the set-up is easy with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips are required. The shelving unit comes in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area, with an open design that provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Its sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable at 1" increments vertically. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass freely throughout racks, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The wire mesh ships in two pieces.
