The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Wire Shelving is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1500 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage solutions suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility in configuration, and the package includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically by 1" increments. The boltless shelving unit features a sturdy roll-formed steel frame that delivers maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post for structural security, eliminating back and side sway. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly. This shelving system is easy to assemble with snap-in components, offers four-side access due to its open design, and facilitates expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
