The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexible storage options. The unit features a durable, chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The shelving includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility layout, allowing for expansion and enhanced stability by joining units without the need to bolt starter units together.
