The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit’s sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a secure joint eliminating back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
