The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility in storage configuration. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, preventing back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The kit includes easy-to-assemble snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the decking consists of a 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean finish and pre-cut square edging. The open design allows four-side access, enhancing accessibility and versatility.
