The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint to prevent back and side sway, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, as all components snap together for easy set-up. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel framing and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminate melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging, which ships in two pieces.
