The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs., with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the shelving can be expanded easily by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the frame, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and ships as two pieces of particle board in white/laminated finish.
