The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams with vertical adjustment in 1" increments. The laminate decking is stain resistant, easy to clean, 1/2" thick melamine with pre-cut square edging, finished white laminated, and ships in two pieces as particle board. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This boltless shelving system allows expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
