The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving features chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated, with particle board shipping in two pieces. The open shelves offer four-sided access for maximum flexibility and join easily with starter units without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security and reduces back and side sway. The shelving is adaptable in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area, and assembly is easy without tools.
