The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. It has a sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four side access providing maximum flexibility. The package includes stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with snap-in components—no nuts, bolts, or clips are required.
