The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility in height configuration. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit offers four-side access due to its open design and can be easily expanded by joining multiple units with greater stability than bolting two starter units together. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports that help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The decking is a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
