The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable storage solution is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces and features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the sturdy roll-formed steel framing. The laminate surface decking is stain resistant, easy to clean, measures 1/2" thick, and comes with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. Assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips and allows snap-in setup for easy expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
