The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving units measure 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and a stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking in white laminated finish. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, offering an open design for four side access and flexibility. Particle board ships in two pieces, and the finish is chip resistant gray baked enamel. This shelving is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications.
