The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations. The assembly is easy with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that provide strong support and adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging is white and laminated. Particle board ships in two pieces.
