The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving unit features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing, 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway and supporting maximum load without beam rotation. The unit includes chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging; particle board ships in two pieces.
