The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking is a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, available in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
