The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access and easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and is white laminated. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
