The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for flexibility. The shelving unit is easy to assemble with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components for quick set-up. It offers an open design that allows four-side access, enhancing accessibility. The unit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing structural security and preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. The decking surface consists of a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine laminate with pre-cut square edging in white; the particle board ships in two pieces. This shelving complies with industry safety standards and includes a manufacturer’s warranty.
