The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking are included; the decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and is white laminated. The particle board ships in two pieces.
