The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for flexible organization. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving has sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and ships as particle board in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. This add-on unit can be joined with others for expanded storage with more stability and less construction compared to bolting starter units together.
