The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The shelving features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
