The SC Preferred 4-shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Each shelf supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable construction with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for structural security, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on steel framing and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces with pre-cut square edging. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for easy expansion and stable joining of units.
