The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit features easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is simple by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and is finished white/laminated. The particle board ships in two pieces.
