The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving unit features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
