The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility for various storage needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts to prevent back and side sway, ensuring structural stability. The shelving has a sturdy roll-formed steel frame with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The white laminated particle board decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface; the particle board ships in two pieces. The frame has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
