The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. It features a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The laminate decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface in a white laminated finish, and is chip resistant with a gray baked enamel finish on the steel frame. The particle board ships in two pieces.
