The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and includes a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking made of particle board that ships in two pieces. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load. The system is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion simple and more stable compared to bolting two starter units together.
