The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The system offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, and chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The 1/2" thick melamine surface decking is stain resistant, easy to clean, white laminated, and features pre-cut square edging. Particle board ships in two pieces.
