The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various needs. The unit enables easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
