The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The unit features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, the shelving provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, with stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
