The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelving unit features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging provide durability and ease of maintenance. The particle board decking ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
