The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving system uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish combined with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging enhances durability and maintenance. The particle board ships in two pieces.
