The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty channel boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities. The open shelves, adjustable at 1" increments, have a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access and easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the 1/2" thick decking features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface with pre-cut square edging. The particle board shelf ships in two pieces.
